AVID is a college readiness program designed to promote and increase school wide learning and performance. AVID uses different learning strategies based on the acronym WICR, writing, inquiry, collaboration, and reading, and other research based methods. AVID curriculum is structured to help teachers create effective instruction and students achieve higher and more meaningful standards of learning.
